Let me explain myself...
Hello nomadic ex-readers who have happened back, let me explain my ridiculously long absence.
At the end of 2008 I bought a domain. Woo! I hand-selected a bunch of writers and photographers to help participate, I bought amazing templates, spent hours on beautiful layouts and features etc, and was offered the FREE services of an expert programmer to help me put everything together. It was to be ready within a week, the townspeople rejoiced.
A few weeks later, things got very busy at work for both me and the programmer (we were at the same place, for those who remembered the Lost in Hungary series, it was Tibor who offered to help me). I understood, so I didn't care. Deadlines were extended, and 6 weeks later it wasn't ready. Flash forward to this programmer having a crisis with another job he was doing, getting his wife pregnant, his wife having pregnancy troubles, the wife getting over the troubles... and five months later and I still had no site. So his baby was fine... but what about mine!?!?
After moving back to Sydney, starting a new diploma at Usyd, starting a full-time job at the same time, moving out, a personal tragedy, getting another book published, and AusNTM starting again... I made only tiny steps. Now that I have the time and resources, I'm restarting the project but I just can't wait to blog again so I'm starting up here (again!! yay!!) and I'll have a little help. So get ready for lots of changes in I have NO IDEA how many months, and I'm sorry to have been gone for so long.
