USyd SRC Election and Chalking

Putting those "Australians are friendly" stereotypes away, the Bic Pacers are out for Usyd's 2005 SRC Election. Eager candidates rush around to auditoriums talking about how they'll improve our education experience by ironically holding up the lecture. Also, old women who live in shoes beware! Your house could potentially get all scuffed up by all the "chalk promotion" swarming the campus pavement.

The "chalking" is just beginning. By the end of two weeks, a rainstorm will be able to wash the whole university away. Thankfully, the noticeboards which contain thousands of overlapped campaign pamphlets may clog up the gutters before Fisher Library joins the sewerage system. I'm surprised no one has thought to carve their name into the century old sandstone yet.

I thought all the chalk on the ground saying "VSU RALLY TODAY" was just old but as it turns out, there is a rally EVERY SINGLE DAY. Ok, it just seems like that but there will be another one on September 15. Rallying seems to be pointless, I think they should just make more clever traps like this one to thwart the VSU monster.

The camera cuts it off but the arrows point to a mousetrap laden with delicious "student rights".

Worried about your posture from have to read things on the ground all the time? Add a comment..
