Anti-VSU Rally August 10
Another rally is being held to stop Voluntary Student Unionism. The first rally was in April and it had a decent turn out, another rally happened about 2 weeks after and about 7 people attended that one. That's probably because the second rally didn't chop down most of The Amazon to promote the day of action. Like before, Union representatives are touring the lectures promoting this coming rally, getting people to sign petitions, handing out stickers etc. There's also posters galore, this one was from the first rally

Personally, I don't now who this Unis is and why she spells her name so strangely but I don't see why we should care what she 'need' with her poor grammar and all. Not everyone shared Unis' enthusiasm for USU though:
There were stacks of police at the last rally, Frenzel Rhomb performed and i'm sure there was a camera or two. Whatever your view on USU, you've got to go next week's rally anyway. There'll be a buzz in the air, a tremor in the ground and free bottled water! Midday, front lawn, August 10.
